Our Community Partners

Hands of Hope

REST closely partners with Hands of Hope, another non-profit that serves the needy in our region.

Hands of Hope is open five days a week (M-F) and provides day time services such as laundry facilities, showers, computer resources, and counseling/mentoring opportunities. REST utilizes the Hands of Hope facility at 909 Spiva Avenue in Yuba City as a point of entry and release for overnight guests. Hands of Hope and REST closely coordinate policies and procedures in order to provide a consistent framework for homeless families and single women in need. See their website for further information.

Hands of Hope also offers services in Yuba County at the Life Building Center, 131 F St, Marysville, CA 95901. The Life Building Center offers daytime services similar to those at HOH's Spive Ave. location in Yuba City, as well as overnight shelter for adult men and women.

Please support Hands of Hope in any way that you can!

Adventist Health + Rideout

Adventist Health + Rideout provides innovative health services for people experiencing homelessness and supports REST financially. REST provides a safe place for homeless clients to go once discharged from the hospital.

Geweke Ford

Geweke Auto Group is a third generation, family-owned, automotive company that has been in business since 1986. Located at 871 E. Onstott Road in Yuba City, they have served the Yuba-Sutter community by not only offering automotive brands ranked highly in safety, performance, comfort, convenience and technology, but by generously supporting a wide variety of local non-profit organizations. Geweke has been a strong and consistent supporter of REST from the very beginning. Each year they make available to REST a seven passenger van for use during the entire shelter season. Geweke Ford was the first local company to step forward to assist REST to house the homeless.

Gaiser Pets

"We're not your ordinary pet store!"

Gaiser Pets generously provided REST with a generous gift of $1000 at our annual Luau event and our Softball for Shelter event.

United Way

United Way works with companies, governments, nonprofits and other organizations to address complex challenges on a worldwide scale. Our partners contribute more than money. Their ideas, volunteer power, in-kind support and more are helping build stronger communities. REST is an Affiliate Partner with the Yuba- Sutter United Way.

Disneyland® Resort

As a key component of our efforts to support nonprofit organizations, Disneyland® Resort is pleased to provide a charitable contribution, in the form of Disneyland® Resort theme park tickets, to nonprofit organizations operating in the Western United States. REST receives multiple 1-Day Park Hopper tickets each year as a donation to our fundraising events.
